The Guest Museums lecture series, which brings directors and museum professionals who collaborate with the Museu del Renaixement, is on this occasion part of the programme of events organised by the Museum to mark International Women’s Day. We welcome Sílvia Carbonell, directora en excedència del Museu Tèxtil de Terrassa.
The event will take place in the La Gòtica hall. Free activity with limited capacity.

On the first Sunday of every month, the Renaissance Museum opens free of charge to everyone. Located in the majestic Requesens Palace in Molins de Rei, the museum invites us to learn about the Requesens family, the key features of Renaissance art, and everyday life in the 16th century. Don’t miss the chance to explore it!

The 90 minutes tour takes visitors through the museum rooms, discovering the history of the Requesens Palace, Renaissance art, and daily life at the time.
Free activity. To participate, advance booking is required at info@museudelrenaixement.cat and confirmation must be received. To make a reservation, please provide your name, number of people, contact phone number, and postal code.
Family activity: The Lost Treasure of Remolina (in Catalan)

Children under 4 years old accompanying their family unit enter for free.
In this activity, we will discover four virtues of the Renaissance spirit. Through different challenges requiring observation, ingenuity, and creativity, children will get closer to this fascinating period and experience the museum in a fun and engaging way. At the end, children and their families will take home a small keepsake.
