Learning with the museum: shared bonds and challenges

Training session recognised by the Department of Education and Vocational Training, aimed at teachers and museum professionals interested in collaboration, mediation, and shared educational practices. The proposal is designed as a space for encounter between the educational and museum sectors, to reflect on the role of the museum as an educational agent and its relationship with schools.

The session combines experience, reflection, and dialogue through the participation of the educational teams from the Museum of the Renaissance and the National Art Museum of Catalonia, as well as teachers from across the territory. Through different activities and a final roundtable discussion, participants share experiences and examples of collaboration to generate ideas that can be transferred to the classroom and educational projects.

A journey through the music inspired by the poetry of Petrarch’s Canzoniere between the end of the Renaissance and the beginning of the Baroque.

A live poetic-musical performance by Miquel Desclot, Néstor Pindado and Ferran Pisà.

Three 20-minute sessions in the Tapestry Room, at eight, nine and ten in the evening.

Passat i present estan entrelligats: actualment podem celebrar el 8 de març, Dia internacional de les dones, perquè hi va haver dones que ens obriren camí en la defensa de la dignitat i la llibertat femenines. De la major part d’aquestes dones no en sabem el nom, foren anònimes; d’una minoria se’n conserva el nom i el seus fets, és el cas de la pintora Sofonisba Anguissola, nascuda a Cremona que va residir a la cort hispànica de Felip II de qui es mostren obres a diversos museus d’arreu del món, entre ells el del Prado de Madrid que l’hi va dedicar una gran exposició l’any 2019. A més de les seves obres pictòriques es conserven prou documents d’arxiu com per poder-ne reconstruir la vida, una vida molt interessant, per cert.

In the La Gòtica hall, the director of the Museum of the Renaissance, Damià Martínez, and the curators of the exhibition La Dama Estefanía de Requesens, Espe Pons and Jordi Jové, on display on the ground floor of the El Molí building, will hold a conversation about the figure of Estefanía de Requesens and the journey of discovery that their collaborative work has represented in reinterpreting and breathing new life into the memory of this noble woman through various artistic languages.

L’acte, organitzat per la Càtedra UB d’Estudis del Renaixement de Molins de Rei, inclourà un homenatge als membres de la Comissió Cívica, el lliurament del premi al millor TFM i la presentació del congrés “450 anys de la mort de Lluís de Requesens. La noblesa catalana en temps del Renaixement”.
