On the first Sunday of every month, the Renaissance Museum opens free of charge to everyone. Located in the majestic Requesens Palace in Molins de Rei, the museum invites us to learn about the Requesens family, the key features of Renaissance art, and everyday life in the 16th century. Don’t miss the chance to explore it!

Museus Convidats: The National Art Museum of Catalonia

The Museus Convidats lecture series will feature directors and specialists from museums that collaborate with the Museum of the Renaissance. For this session, we will welcome Joan Yeguas Gassó, curator of the Renaissance and Baroque Art Collection at the National Art Museum of Catalonia.
The event will take place in the La Gòtica hall. Free activity with limited capacity.
Family activity: The Lost Treasure of Remolina (in Catalan)
At 10am
€5,00 adults, €3,00 children.
Children under 4 years old accompanying their family unit enter for free.
In this activity, we will discover four virtues of the Renaissance spirit. Through different challenges requiring observation, ingenuity, and creativity, children will get closer to this fascinating period and experience the museum in a fun and engaging way. At the end, children and their families will take home a small keepsake.

Christmas at the Museum: Help Us Decorate the Christmas Tree

Come with your family and let your creativity soar! In this workshop, you can create your own Christmas decoration using the museum’s materials and hang it on the tree that will brighten the foyer throughout the holiday season.
Leave your mark on our tree and fill the museum with Christmas spirit!

Museum’s First Anniversary: Guided Tours (Catalan)

The tours, lasting approximately an hour and a half, take visitors through the museum galleries to discover the history of the Requesens Palace, Renaissance art, and everyday life during the period.
