The Museum of the Renaissance collaborates very closely with the UB Chair of Renaissance Studies and is part of its Monitoring Committee, together with the City Council of Molins de Rei, which is the public entity that funds it.

The aim of the Chair is to conduct research and promote knowledge about the historical period of the Catalan Renaissance, both nationally and internationally, as well as to enhance historical understanding of Molins de Rei and establish academic connections on a national and international level.
