ERA
A museum that tells the story of the art and history of the Renaissance.
Historical setting
The construction of the Requesens Palace in Molins de Rei began at the end of the 15th century, but it reached its peak of splendour in the 16th century. Prominent figures and monarchs such as the Catholic Kings and Emperor Charles V stayed there on many occasions.
Today, it houses an interesting collection of paintings, sculptures and objects dating from the Renaissance period from the town of Molins de Rei, and from the collections of other museums with which it collaborates.
